AMNH Gala
Last Thursday night, Scott and I were invited to attend the American Museum of Natural History Gala, by our friends Cole and Raymond Harbert, whose Father generously gave us his table. As we were stepping out of our taxi in our black tie attire, the photographers were shooting away as if we were famous. It was very surreal being within touching distance of celebrities like Alec Baldwin (who checked out my top half and calmly looked away when I caught him), the cast and creator of SNL, Conan, Steve Martin, and various others. The food was amazing, the performers (Tom Petty and Amy/Seth from SNL) were great, the free gift/swag bags at the end were pretty cool, and the auctioned items were....ridiculous.

Never did like that Baldwin jerk. Would have liked to have seen Steve Martin.

those are from some website Amy googled. Not ours.

Yeah, everyone there played it way too cool, and no one seemed impressed to see celebs except our group, so we kept the camera down whenever any were near.
