Helping family....and children

We are still in FL and have become very lazy. Case in point-I'm keeping this blog short and letting my brother and his wife Kallie do all the work this time. Long story short, my acting practice has paid off, because I told David before he opened the gift that it was going to be huge. I told him money was not an issue for us, and I didn't want him to be think he had to ever repay us with something like this, we just wanted him to be happy. I did all this without cracking a smile and with a voice seeping with love and affection for this little man I call brother. David hasn't fallen for anything since we were 12, but from the look of "wow, my sister is such a blessing" on his face, I knew I had him this time. He opened the gift slowly, to find a box, my box, for a new Iphone. He became very excited, thanking me, lot's of "oh my...s" went around the table. He opened it to play with it....and found....my 6 year old cell phone inside instead. I love you David. Be blessed.

Other than that, not much is going on. Just seeing friends and family. Tomorrow I am spending the day with my old friend Jereme. He is running a marathon in NYC later this year to help raise money for Pediatric Cancer. Off to Florida

Well it's that time of year folks. We are taking what has turned into our annual August trip to FL. We leave in the morning and will be down until the 13th. Give us a call and we'll go do something. We're looking forward to seeing you all down there.

Fingerprint smudged goodness.

I am typing this on my cell phone. That's right folks we got iPhones. It's only been a couple days so I really haven't discovered all that it can do but I am loving what I see so far! Here is what my home screen looks like as of today...



It is dubbed the "Jesus Phone" by some, "overrated" by others. I'll just call it very, very cool. It certainly beats the dinosaurs that we have been carrying around for the past few years. Anyway, thats all.

We are getting ready to fly to FL for a couple weeks so we'll let you know when as it gets closer. Can't wait to go. That's all for now
