Not dead!

Hi there. How are you? Nice of you to stop by. You are here today for one of two reasons. Either you still check this blog daily even after months of inactivity, or you have an RSS feed set up to alert you to new posts. Usually the former would be just fine but since we have not been nice to our blog by failing to update regularly your best bet has become an automated alert of some kind to tell you that we said something useless again. In any case welcome back!

Today's post is a picture post. That means that there is nothing of interest in it but the pics. Since the last post was about how dirty and cold it was this past winter in the city I thought we should show you the happy pretty side of our island in the spring. So here you go. These are a couple pics of the green grass and trees on a sunny day along the East River on Roosevelt Island just south of the Queensboro Bridge, and some yellow tulips as a bonus. Enjoy.

AMY!!! Are you all better now?! Gosh, you had a rough time for awhile there, girlie. We prayed for a speedy recovery.
Blessings to you & Scott this year!
