A lot has happened since our last post. Here's a brief recap: I (Amy) have done a bit more with the improv world through the UCB and have taught another year in my largest class to date here in NYC-21, Scott's joined another band, and.....I became pregnant and gave birth to our first son, MacPherson Charles DeVore, on March 30, 2011. He is a perfect little package of sweetness, humor, and striking good looks. The "birth experience" wasn't too bad, but it did last a total of 26 hours (I was without pain and sleeping in the delivery room for the first half of this so don't feel too badly for me). I did opt for the epidural and even had it "topped off" 4 times once the pain became stronger. At one point, the Dr. even said to me "you'll have to feel some pain at some point." "Not now though" was my answer. He complied.
Macpherson is Scott's middle name. It is a family name on his dad's side. We are not sure what we will end up calling him yet. Probably a mix of Mac, Big Mac, McNugget, Lil' DeVo, or something along those lines.
