well day 1 of moving is done and it could not have gone any smoother. Dudes show up and I point at what to wrap up and take. Dudes wrap it up and put it in the truck. I meet them at the new place and point at where they are to put it. They unwrap it all and put it there. Done and Done.
Tomorrow we go back for some little stuff. Also, the new decor is delivered tomorrow. Pics to come..

how much does it cost to hire movers in nyc...? i wish i could afford to hire movers. but then again, i'm moving 9 hours away. it's crazy ridiculously expensive to do that.
Moving dudes are great, aren't they? When we moved from Atlanta to OKC, they even packed trash. 'Course, I couldn't be in every room to point at what not to pack, and I had a little baby at the time. But it's SO much better than doing it yourself. However, they did NOT unpack for us. Hope you get settled quickly. Waiting on pics!
